WDHA’s Rock the Rockfest 2024 took over Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on April 25th. The energized fans filled the arena and were ready to rock along with their favorite bands. WDHA 105.5 The Rock of New Jersey hosted the night and got on stage before each band to keep the crowd energized and excited for more rock.
The night’s line up on the main stage included Staind (Headliner), Seether, The Struts, Dayseeker and Aaron Jones. The VIP acoustic set had Tim Montana and Plush.
Ayron Jones (singer/ songwriter/ guitarist) opened the night. Songs included “Blood in the Water,” “Mercy” and “Take Me Away.”

Dayseeker is an American rock band from Orange County, California. Members include Rory Rodriguez (vocals), Gino Sgambelluri (guitar), Zac Mayfield (bass), Ramone Valerio (drums). Songs included “Dreamstate,” “Burial Plot” and ended their show with “Neon Grave.”

The Struts are a British rock band from Derby, Derbyshire. Band members include Luke Spiller (Lead vocals), Adam Slack (guitar), Jed Elliott (bass), and Gethin Davies (drums). The bands amazing music and fun performance got the whole arena into party mode. Songs included “Primadonna On Me,” “I Do It So Well” and “Fallin’ With Me.”

Seether is a rock band originating from South Africa. In 2002 the group moved to the US. Members include Shaun Morgan (lead vocals and guitar), Dale Stewart (bass), John Humphry (drums), Corey Lowery (guitar). Songs included fan favorites such as “Broken,” “Fake It” and “Remedy.”

Staind headlined the night and performed an absolutely rock-filled and amazing set.
Staind is an American Rock band from Springfield, Massachusetts. Members include Aaron Lewish (lead vocals and guitar), Mike Mushok (lead guitar), Jonny April (bass and backing vocals) and Jon Wysocki (drums). Moshers filled the pit and had fun in the middle of the GA section while those in the seats and the rest of the floor rocked along to the bands fantastic and iconic music. Favorites played included “Eyes Wide Open,” “Fade,” and “So Far Away.”
