“November 25: Miraculously, a date that absolutely no one in Stars Hollow has a conflict with.”
Netflix has released new videos announcing that they will released a four part series on November 25, 2016 of Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.
Put on your pajamas, grab a fistful of pop-tarts, and get ready for the 3 a.m. release on Black Friday (midnight PST). Ideally, the spirit of Lorelai and Rory Gilmore will then prompt you to buy ample shoes, while splurging on multiple cups of coffee— like only a Gilmore could.
The four episodes will be 90-minutes each, each taking place in one of the four seasons.
The series will see the return of the majority of the original cast: Lauren Graham (Lorelei Gilmore), Alexis Bleidel (Rory Gilmore), Scott Patterson (Luke), Melissa McCarthy (Sookie), Rose Abdoo (Gypsy), Kelly Bishop (Emily Gilmore), Yanic Truesdale (Michel), Sally Struthers (Babette), Liz Weil (Paris), Keiko Agena (Lane), Milo Ventimiglia (Jess), Jared Padalecki (Dean), David Sutcliffe (Christopher), Matt Czuchry (Logan), Sean Gunn (Kirk), Danny Strong (Doyle), Michael Winters (Taylor), Liz Torres (Ms. Patty) and Vanessa Marano (April). It’s also confirmed that rocker Sebastian Bach will return as well. Edward Herrmann, who played Richard Gilmore, passed away in 2014, but his character will be referenced throughout the series.
