Kimmy Sokol was live covering AEW Full Gear 2024 Media Scrum at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on Saturday November 23, 2024 for Pop Break.
The first AEW star to arrive on the dais to speak with the media (along with All Elite Wrestling President, General Manager and Head of Creative Tony Khan, and MC Renee Paquette) was the current TBS champion, Mercedes Mone. Earlier in the night Mone defeated Kris Statlander (in arguably one of the matches of the night) to retain her title.
During her time in the scrum, “The CEO” put over her opponent (Statlander) as well as her first-ever AEW opponent Willow Nightingale. She also spoke her multitude of goals in he world of professional wrestling for 2025 and if planned on wrestling at the big Wrestle Dynasty PPV. This joint show between AEW, New Japan Pro Wrestling, New Japan Strong, CMLL, Stardom and Ring of Honor will take place on January 5, 2025 at The Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan.
