NXT Stand & Deliver 2025 is NXT’s version Wrestlemania — as it’s the most presitigous PLE for the brand which airs Tuesdays on The CW. The show features a ton of multi-person matches with every title (outside of the Heritage Cup) on the line.

Pop Break’s Editor-in-Chief Bill Bodkin and Mike Mueller, host of the Sweet Chin Musings Podcast as well as a Pop Break & BCP contributor, have teamed up to give their predictions. (Bill’s Note: If you want to get picks right for your pool — follow Mike’s picks).

Pre-Show Match:

Fatal Four-Way Tag Team Title Match to Determine the #1 Contender for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship:

Meta-Four (Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson) vs. Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley & Jacy Jayne) vs. Tatum Paxley & Gigi Dolin vs. Roxanne Perez & Cora Jade

Mike’s Thoughts: To predict this match, we need to predict who will win at Wrestlemania between Raquel & Liv vs. Bayley and Lyra. If Bayley and Lyra become the champions, it makes the most sense for Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade to get the victory here, since Roxanne and Bayley have already had some heat. However, if Liv and Raquel retain, it makes the most sense to have Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson get the victory. They’ve already spent a little bit of time on the main roster, and it’s clear WWE has big plans for them. Nothing against Fatal Influence or Tatum & Gigi, but it doesn’t seem like they have much of a shot in this one.

Prediction: Since I have Liv and Raquel winning at Wrestlemania, I’ll go with Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson.

Bill’s Thoughts: My pick in my Wrestlemania Night 2 column for the Women’s Tag belts might be in jeopardy. Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez taking on Bayley and Lyra — and defeating them on the main roster makes so much sense. None of the other teams really have a motive to be in contention. Team Hot Topic (Paxley & Dolin) or Toxic Attraction 2.0 (Jayne & Fallon) seem to be entangled in TNA. Team Meta-Four, who I do believe are main roster bound, are not the team to challenge either win. So give it to Team Main Roster Ready.

Prediction: Roxanne Perez & Cora Jade

Main Show:

Ladder Match for the NXT Women’s North American Championship: Zaria vs. Kelani Jordan vs. Sol Ruca vs. Izzi Dame vs. Lola Vice vs. Thea Hail

Mike’s Thoughts: This whole card just screams old school Wrestlemania thinking. “Do whatever you gotta do to get as many people on the card!” I’m not knocking it. I was really hoping for a multi-person ladder match at Wrestlemania, and since that’s not happening, I’ll happily take this match instead. These women are going to give it everything they have, and I’d lay decent odds that at least one person gets injured.

Prediction: Thea Hail is just returning and seems to have a lot of momentum. I’ll take her. Besides, who doesn’t love a scrappy underdog?

Bill’s Thoughts: I really like Mike’s pick here. However, I’m going to go a different route. Let’s eliminate some people. Kelani Jordan and Lola Vice were once very highly featured players in NXT, however with the addition of all the big names they’ve falled down the card. A win here would help their profile, but I don’t see it happening. Izzi Dame is still relatively new to the scene, can’t see her winning, especially since The Culling faction is already cooled off. Sol Ruca just won the Speed Title — I don’t see her getting a double title run this soon. This leaves Zaria and Thea. Zaria has been touted as a big time signing for NXT, so it makes sense for her to score the win here.

Prediction: “And new” Zaria

Fata 4-Way for the NXT Women’s Championship: Stephanie Vaquer © vs. Giulia vs. Jordynne Grace vs. Jaida Parker

Mike’s Thoughts: Vaquer just won this title off of Giulia in what was an absolute banger of a match that could have gone either way, Jordynne Grace’s character would benefit a ton from this victory, and Jaida Parker seems destined for superstardom. A strong case for any of these women can be made, as they all seem like they are either already on the same level, or will quickly get to the same level, as their opponents in the match.

Prediction: Since it’s so early into her title run, I’ll pick Stephanie Vaquer to retain.

Bill’s Thoughts: The Vince Russo-level odyssey it took to get to this match is mind boggling. Thankfully, we’ve got four women who are really good at wrestling in this one. Since there’s a hot potato with the belt here, I’m going with a change…

Prediction: Jordynne Grace gets the win here, when she pins Jaida Parker — while Giulia and Stephanie are fighting each other. I think we then get a series of matches between the Big 3 here, while Parker gets a main roster call-up.

NXT Tag Team Championship Match: Fraxiom (Nathan Frazier & Axiom) vs. Hank n Tank (Hank Walker & Tank Ledger)

Mike’s Thoughts: Fraxiom has been my favorite tag team to come around in a very long time. They’re exciting, have great chemistry, and the fans absolutely adore them. They’ve been the tag team champs for a year (minus a quick hiccup against Chase U) and nobody seems sick of them. Hank n Tank, conversely, seemed to be on the verge of a breakup before winning their #1 contender match.

Prediction: Given that Fraxiom have been so dominant for so long, it seems like their call-up to the main roster is inevitable. That, combined with the “out of nowhere” win for Hank n Tank leads me to believe we will see new tag team champions. I pick Hank n Tank, but I really want to be wrong.

Bill’s Thoughts: Hank and Tank are a fun team that should’ve been given a little more time to marinate and grow as a rough and ready blue collar, meat and potatoes tag team. The whole Pretty Deadly angle then getting a last second tag title match does not bode well for them. Fraxiom will eventually break up, but not today.

Prediction: “And still” Fraxiom.

NXT North American Championship Match: Ricky Saints vs. “All Ego” Ethan Page

Mike’s Thoughts: Hook this into my veins and turn it to 11. I want this match to go a half hour. I want them to fight all over the arena. I want them to show the world how badly AEW dropped the ball on these two. The only one on one match on the card is going to be the match of the night. Count on it.

Prediction: While I’m happy either way, Ricky Saints is the “shiny new toy” and he just got the belt, so I think he goes over here.

Bill’s Thoughts: I am more of an AEW than WWE fan, but I am happy to see both All Ego and Absolute where they want to be and being featured. I disagree about this being the match of the night, as the Women’s Title Match is likely going to snag that honor. I think this will be a perfectly solid match — not because these two can’t out and burn the house down — but because this is going to be the first of many matches between these two.

Prediction: “And Still” Ricky Saints.

6 Man Tag Match: The D’Angelo Family (Tony D’Angelo, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo & Luca Crusifino) with Adriana Rizzo vs. DarkState (Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Saquon Shugars and/or Osiris Griffin)

Mike’s Thoughts: The D’Angelo Family just spent a nice long time in the spotlight, while DarkState is the new faction on the block. While experience sides with D’Angelo, the unpredictable and chaotic nature of DarkState seems to nullify that.

Prediction: DarkState still seems to have the jump on the entire roster, and I don’t think that changes here.

Bill’s Thoughts: So, Stack or Luca turns after this one, right? It feels like we’ve hit the breaking point with The Family, who’s been doing this nearly three years at this point.

Prediction: DarkState and its band of horribly named competitors will get the W here, thanks to the D’Angelo family imploding and a “new member.”

Triple Threat Match for NXT Championship: Oba Femi © vs. Trick Williams vs. “The Young OG” Je’Von Evans

Mike’s Thoughts: While he is no doubt impressive, Oba Femi’s title run has been a bit lackluster up until this point. Meanwhile, Je’Von Evans seems like he only exists to take the L in triple threat matches, much like Bronson Reed in WWE. I’ve been made to look like a fool many times by picking Reed in those kinds of matches, and I will not allow it to happen again here. While I want Evans to win, it seems like this new edge to Trick Williams has him poised to become a three time NXT champion.

Prediction: DarkState somehow gets involved and Trick Williams becomes your new NXT Champion.

Bill’s Thoughts: Je’Von Evans getting the Io Sky treatment in this title match, does not equal a win here. The title goes to the newest member of DarkState — Trick Williams — who will reveal he’s the leader of this group of name generator filled wrestlers. Oba and Je’Von will lead Team NXT against DarkState for a big blow off later this year. It’s sad because Trick looked to be an absolute star in NXT and on the cusp of a main roster spot. Now, he’s leading Retribution 2.0.

Prediction: Trick Williams.

NXT Stand & Deliver 2025 will be streaming on Peacock on 1pm.
