TNA Slammiversary 2026 takes place today (Sunday June 28) live from the Aggabis Arena in Boston, Massachusetts, starting at 3 p.m. EST. It is available via TNA+ and traditional PPV outlets.
This anniversary show, which marks the 24th Anniversary of Total Non-Stop Action, is yet another new era for the company that is hard to kill. After the exit of numerous talent, front office personnel and head of creative Tommy Dreamer it seems TNA is going into a full reboot/rebirth. Rumors have that Road Dogg will be returning to the company (don’t forget he had multiple stints as a wrestler there) to lead the creative charge, and let’s not forget the rumors of a former WWE superstar making their imminent debut on the show.
So let’s get into the prediction for this tentpole PPV for TNA.
Pre-Show
Indi Hartwell vs. Mara Sadè vs. Elayna Black
Thoughts: All three of these women would greatly benefit from a win here. Hartwell could easily be next in line for the TNA Knockouts title. Black’s run in TNA has yet to have a signature win. Sadè is a star in the making, who outside of beating Ryan Nemeth, has no significant wins in the KO division. The smart money is on Indi, but let’s get a little nuts with this one. I think Mara Sadè takes it, because regardless of who wins the KO’s title on the main card, she can work either effectively and should be the face of the division.
Winner: Mara Sadè
Eric Young vs. Ricky Sosa
Thoughts: A conundrum that really shouldn’t be. Traditional wrestling logic says that since EY has gotten the better of Sosa on a consistent basis, and the fact Sosa is a promising new star, the Brit with the banger entrance should win. However, traditional TNA logic says this is not the case. So, outside of interference from a new talent, let’s hope the new direction of TNA creative leans towards traditional wrestling logic.
Prediction: Ricky Sosa
TNA Slammiversary 2026 Main Show
A. J. Francis vs. Elijah
Thoughts: So, if Elijah loses, AJ Francis will own his name, likeness, and music catalog. Holy sports entertainment, Batman. Why not just make this a Boston Street Fight and have these two go out and beat the hell out of each other. While this writer is not the biggest Top Dolla guy, the former New York Giant (respect) can brawl as can the former bane of Kevin Owens’ existence (Elijah). While it would be funny seeing AJ in a cowboy hat, this feels like something they should move past. Elijah should get the win and both men should move onto greener pastures.
Predictions: Elijah
TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship: The Elegance Brand (Heather by Elegance and M by Elegance) (c) with The Personal Concierge vs. Rosemary and Allie
Thoughts: The Elegance Brand is filled with talent, but TNA’s fixation on them just needs to cool off a bit. Have them drop the belts to the Undead, and let’s have these two very talented women (Heather and M) begin their journey as eventual singles competitors and faces of the Knockouts Division.
Prediction: “And new” Allie & Rosemary
Ultimate X Match for the TNA X Division Title: Cedric Alexander (c) vs. Leon Slater vs. Frankie Kazarian vs. Mr. Elegance vs. Fabian Aichner vs. KC Navarro vs. Amazing Red
Thoughts: An unpredictable match with an unpredictable outcome. So let’s eliminate and debate. If this were the old booking regime, Mr. Elegance probably would have won this. But this is a new day, yes it is, so let’s rule him out. Amazing Red, who still has a lot of gas in the tank, is a great nostalgic addition to the match, but unless he’s signed a full-time deal with TNA, he’s not winning this match. Leon Slater, whether he goes to WWE or AEW, does not seem to be sticking around TNA, so let’s take him out of the equation. Frankie Kazarian is the hometown guy and “The King of TNA,” so it’d be a nice win to celebrate the history of the company, however that feels like a lateral, not progressive move. That’s also why Cedric should not retain. The X Division Title is one that can move around, so why not change things up. That’s why this comes down to Fabian Aichner and KC Navarro. “The Blessed One” is someone TNA fans are behind, and would make a great champion. However, I think he’s better in the chase than as a champ. So that leaves the newly arrived Aichner who is a terrific wrestler and could be a solid face or heel champion.
Winner: “And New” Fabian Aichner
TNA International Championship: Mustafa Ali vs. A Special Mystery Opponent
Thoughts: If the rumors are true and it’s the former Apollo Crews/Uhaa Nation, then put the belt right on him. Uhaa is awesome, and someone who deserves a run as a made guy and not saddled with dopey gimmicks. Also, if new TNA management can figure a way to get Mustafa Ali out of this weird cult of personality gimmick and make him a top, sympathetic babyface, that would benefit everyone.
Winner: “And New” The Mystery Opponent
No Surrender Match: Eddie Edwards with Alisha Edwards v. Moose w/JDC (fka Fandango)
Thoughts: Man, this is going to have some sort of shenanigans where JDC throws in the towel for Moose and turns heel and joins the system, isn’t it? These two will give it their all, undoubtedly. However, it feels like these two are just locked in an eternal feud, and new TNA creative should really do something to freshen both of these guys up.
Prediction: Eddie Edwards
TNA Knockouts World Championship: Léi Yǐng Lee (c) vs. Xia Brookside
Thoughts: This is the biggest test to date for Brookside, and honestly this feels like now or never for the second-generation wrestler. And you know what, put the belt on her and let’s see what happens. The former Xia Lee has proven she’s a vastly underrated performer, and can excel as the lead dog in the division. Now, it’s time to see if Brookside can really fly. If she flops, you move the belt back to Lee or someone else. But, TNA really needs to start believing in talent that’s never been given a shot like Brookside. What’s the worst that could happen?
Prediction: “And new” Xia Brookside.
Four-way ladder match for the TNA World Tag Team Championship: The System (Brian Myers and Bear Bronson) (c) vs. The Broken Hardys (Broken Matt and Brother Nero) vs. The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch) vs. The Great Hands (Jason Hotch and John Skyler)
Thoughts: This will be a big, fun match. The easy money is putting the belts back on the Hardys, because let’s be square, they are the reason people tune into TNA. Given that statement however, they don’t need the belts. This ultimately comes down to whether TNA wants to keep the belts on The System, or give the straps to The Righteous. What should happen is The System should retain, and then we get an extended (and violent) feud between them and The Righteous, with Vincent and Dutch eventually (and deservedly) winning the belts.
Prediction: “And still” The System
TNA World Championship: Mike Santana (c) vs. Nic Nemeth
Thoughts: Mike Santana, if the rumors are true, is done with a capital D with TNA by the end of summer. So, why not do the safe thing and put the belt on Nemeth? He’s a bona fide star, a recognizable name for casuals. He can promote the company harder on Busted Open. He also should be a forward-facing media guy who does work with AMC as well. He’s also the right person to build a new challenger against, and it does not need to be rushed.
Prediction: “And New” Nic Nemeth
