Hello and welcome to Bill vs the MCU! Each month your hosts Pop Break Podcasting Director Alex Marcus and Pop Break Editor in Chief Bill Bodkin are taking another step into the wider Marvel Multiverse as the MCU dives deeper into their Multiverse Saga.
Bill & Alex spent all of 2022 rewatching the first four phases of the MCU, and, in the years since, they have covered the first four seasons of Agents of SHIELD, the entire Netflix Defenders Saga, Fox’s X-Men, Fantastic Four, and Daredevil films, the Blade trilogy, a few Punisher films, Ang Lee’s Hulk, Marvel’s Modern Animation line up of shows, and, most recently, Sony’s Spider-Man and Spider-Man related films.
Bill vs The MCU: Agents of Doomsday continues, as Alex & Bill cover all the most apocalyptic Agents of SHIELD seasons in anticipation of Avengers: Doomsday this December!
This month, they have diverging opinions on Agents of SHIELD Season 5 Episodes 11-22, where the series takes a guided tour through its history as it prepared to say goodbye to Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) and potentially the series while also trying to break the time loop our team of fugitive agents are stuck in. We, of course, know that the series would be saved for another two seasons before it was cancelled for good, and we will be covering all of Agents of SHIELD Season 7 next month!
However! Before they get there, Bill and Alex break down the NYCC 2026 news that Marvel is returning to spy series with a new Disney Plus live action series ZODIAC, expected sometime in 2028!
Check back next month as Alex & Bill say goodbye to Agents of SHIELD by reviewing Season 7 Episodes 1-13, also known as the Lost in Time arc, available to stream on Disney Plus!
