Theater, Rent, No Thanks, Undecided? Theater. If you think I’m gonna rent, skip, or am unsure about seeing The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in theaters, then your spidey senses are broken. If you don’t know by now, Spidey is my favorite superhero, and I gotta show my support. However, this trailer did have me a little nervous; why is the Green Goblin not Norman Osborn (Chris Cooper)? What the hell is the Rhino (Paul Giamatti) wearing (referring to the mech suit)? Why does this movie feel so overcrowded? I’ll tell you one thing though, that end sequence of Spidey battling Electro (Jamie Foxx) looks SWEET. I wish they had just focused on Electro as the main bad guy but seems the Spider-Man movie franchise has a big idea for the future of its bad guys. I just hope that until then, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 satisfies the major Spidey fan that I am. –LJF

Theater, Rent, No Thanks, Undecided? Undecided. It took me well over a year after its theatrical release to finally watch The Amazing Spider-Man. So job this trailer needed to accomplish was convince me that I should actually see this film in theater instead of being apathetic to its predecessor. Sadly, this trailer didn’t do much to inspire me, however it also didn’t make me want to not see it either. It’s interesting — the action sequences looks fantastic and I actually am intrigued by the role of OsCorp in Peter’s father’s death and the “secret” Aunt May is hiding. Also, Dane DeHaan as Harry Osborn could be amazing — as he’d be the direct antithesis to James Franco’s spotty performance as Osborn nearly a decade ago. However, like Logan said, this film feels very overcrowded…dare I say like the dreadful Spider-Man 3. I’m going to need to see more trailers to really form an opinion here. I’m officially on the fence. –BB
