the newsdesk enjoys a comeback …
Remember when they hated everything about you?
90s hard rock outfit Ugly Kid Joe, who rose to multi-platinum status the early-to-mid 90s with their blend of hard rock, heavy metal and funk, have returned in full force.
Like us, you must be feeling a sense of ‘I didn’t see that coming.’ Yes, it wasn’t a return we had on our radars either but, damn … this band is back with a vengeance.
The band’s new single, “I’m Alright” is a super, super tight track that proves Ugly Kid Joe’s comeback won’t be some nostalgia-fueled, momentary return to glory, but that they’re ready to get in the ring and battle their way into the hearts and minds of today’s hard rock audience.
The California band’s new EP, Stairway to Hell, will be released on April 16th through MRI, and it contains songs that are vintage Ugly Kid Joe which became the soundtrack for young snowboarders, surfers, and keggers worldwide.
