I’ll give them credit for This is the End, which turned out to be a real surprise. I don’t think that’s going to happen with this one. It has nothing to do with all the controversy shenanigans, I just think this film looks horrendously unfunny. The Seth Rogen and James Franco fans can get excited all they want, but I won’t be one of them. This is one of those movies that I think could be Gigli level bad. I’ve actually never seen Gigli, but you get the idea. I know I just made a ridiculous statement, and if I’m wrong I’ll cop to it. In looking at that trailer though, I don’t see anything redeeming here whatsoever. This one scares me.
