I didn’t think I’d be interested in a movie about the woman who invented the Miracle Mop, but when you bring in David O.Russell and Jennifer Lawrence, you take notice. This team up is approaching Martin Scorsese/Leonardo DiCaprio level of awesomeness. The trailer looks like another superb collaboration. What will hurt Lawrence’s Oscar chances will be the inevitable cries of “Oh, it’s another Oscar movie for Lawrence! I’m so sick of her!” I love watching greatness, so I’m certainly not getting sick of Jennifer Lawrence anytime soon. On paper, this looks like a slam dunk Oscar contender, but because of the baggage, this performance is really going to have to be something special.

Oscar Alert! It’s all about Jennifer Lawrence, but I’m sure David O’Russell will get in the race for writing and directing, as he always does. Let’s also keep an eye on a Robert De Niro Best Supporting Actor nod.
