36. Aliens – 1986
The Face Hugger
Aliens is one of the rare sequels that is arguably better (and scarier) than it’s predecessor. While not as claustrophobic, Aliens is more action-packed, akin to The Terminator and beautifully infusing sci-fi, action and horror. The scariest scene involved the face-huggers, spidery little bastards that, well, hug your face. These were one of my biggest fears as a kid and every time I see one I feel a little squeamish inside.
