These Scars
Okay, I may be cheating here but no one can argue the absolute freak factor the late, great Heath Ledger shared with us on screen in The Dark Knight. The scene where he has gangster Gamble at his mercy is truly scary. He begins to tell the tale of his father and how he got the scars on his face. He starts out telling the story very calmly and then proceeds to get angrier and angrier, his voice rising with the buzzing score brilliantly created by Hans Zimmer. For anyone who doesn’t find this scene truly amazing, I just have one question: Why so serious?
