Edge of Tomorrow is finally ready to “live, die, repeat” again as news about production for the film’s sequel begins to heat up.
It appears fans of the first film will finally get the sequel they have been clamoring for as news about the production team for the sequel is being released to the public.
The film’s sequel will be directed by Edge Of Tomorrow’s director Doug Liman, contrary to popular reports of Christopher McQuarrie taking the helms for this new film, and Joe Shrapnel and Anna Waterhouse will be penning the screenplay for this cinematic sequel.
News for the cast of the film hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, but it is most likely that, after enthusiastic replies and ideas for the sequel itself, that Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt will be back to reprise their roles as Major William “Bill” Cage and Sergeant Rita Rose Vrataski respectively.
No word on a release for the film as of yet, but with a production team like this, it is sure to be a hit.
