Pop Break Live: ‘Stoked for the Summer’ featuring The Bouncing Souls, Lucero, The Menzingers, Mickey Rickshaw, and Timeshares at The Stone Pony Summer Stage in Asbury Park, New Jersey
The Bouncing Souls always gets us stoked. They’ve been providing the soundtracks to kids from the 90s to today with tremendous punk anthems, and intimate portraits of life, love, and New Jersey.
So, it’s only fitting that Asbury Park’s unofficial house band and boys of summer, closed out the summer season at The Stone Pony Summer Stage. (Editor’s Note: There a number of outdoor shows taking place in September and October, see the venue website for details).
This was the second time The Souls performed at The Pony’s outdoor, as they recently opened up for Rancid and Dropkick Murphys.
This time around The Souls headlined the “Stoked for the Summer” show and brought their pals The Menzingers, Lucero, Timeshares, and Mickey Rickshaw with them.
Pop Break’s Staci Altomari caught the bands in action.
