Wrestlemania 31 Predictions Panel

Los Matadores vs. New Day vs. Kidd & Cesaro (Brass Ring Club) vs. The Usos

Bill Bodkin: Usos are gonna do The Uso thing – throw a million super kicks, wrestle super sloppy and win the tag belts back. There’s going to be some shenanigans with Nattie and Tyson which’ll cost them the title. Matadors and New Day are just along for the road.

Steven Miller: The heel turn for the Colon brothers came out of nowhere, as did their re-appearance on the scene. It is more surprising given the loss of Rey Mysterio and Alberto Del Rio. But, the bookers had to do something that would enable them to escape their clown car. The Usos are the best choice moving forward, but Los Matadores will be given the belts for a very short run on top.

Jeff Parsons: The match I care least about on the whole card, which speaks to the sorry state of the Tag Division. I don’t see any way the BRC doesn’t retain, and the only way this match is interesting at all is if the Dudley Boyz are standing on the ramp at the end to challenge them down the road.

Anthony Toto: I’m embarrassed for the company whenever I see Los Matadores on the television screen. I’m horrified whenever I witness the burial of Kofi Kingston and Big E. Langston in this lame “New Day” gimmick. Cesaro nearly stole the show at last Wrestlemania yet this company continues to bury him. Tyson Kidd will never be a serious contender as long as he’s involved in the “Total Diva’s” storyline. However, I expect The Usos, The New Day and Brass Ring Club to blow this crowd away. Look for some highflying acrobatics from Kingston or The Usos and Herculean-strength induced moments from Cesaro and Langston. Winner: Brass Ring Club

Kenny Pete: Despite this match being regulated to the pre-show, this will be a very fast paced, high flying, fun match between some tremendous professional wrestlers. Personally this is my WrestleMania ™ main event this year & predict that Cesaro, Tyson Kidd w/ Natalya successfully defend the Tag-Team championship. They are on fire as an act right now & deserve to shine on the largest stage possible. Oh Yeah, Buy The Shirt!

Michael Dworkis: Crap in a hat. I see Team Jobber One vs. Team Jobber Two vs. Talented Underappreciated Team vs. Team Hardy Boyz aka Spot-Spot-Spot-Injury-Spot-Spot-Spot. I’m hoping you’ve figured out who is who. At this point, any face team who wins will wind up being fodder for the Ascension, because for some unholy reason I fear WWE has a plan, and this time it is not a good thing. I have a very bad feeling Los Matadores could steal the titles, because no one would see it coming. New Day? Eh, they are not over enough… Although this is a reason to let them take the straps. The Usos have worn the belts a few times, and with one injured, another run would not bode well for the tag team division, unless they job them off the following night on RAW. I do not see any of those three scenarios happening, so I am relieved with my pick to keep the titles on a team who should continue on with them. Winners and still Tag Team Champions: The Brass Ring Club (Cesaro and Kidd)

Jon Lister: Let’s break this down. Matadores are completely irrelevant, New Day is annoying, Cesaro should be close to main eventing right now, and The Usos are the only true tag team out of this bunch that should be at WM. However, the champs will retain in this match heavily inspired by Total Divas which is one of the big issues with WWE today.

Evi Dworkis: Kidd & Cesaro, because they’re definitely the best wrestlers individually, and how badly could they possibly mess things up as a team?! *Sarcasm*
