IC Title Ladder Match: R-Truth vs. Bad News Barrett vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Star Dust vs. Luke Harper vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Daniel Bryan

Bill Bodkin: The WWE could really mess with us and give it to R-Truth. However, I think we get a nice Mania moment with Daniel Bryan winning the match. However, don’t be shocked if Ziggler loses his cool and makes a much-needed heel turn. Regardless of the winner, this is going to be an amazing match.

Steven Miller: YES! YES! YES!! Bryan has done his duty by jobbing to Ziggler twice in the past week. He will be rewarded with the U.S Championship, the title will be rewarded by finally having someone with status wear the strap, and the fans will be rewarded with a great performance by Danielson, Nemeth and Runnells. (And, yes, I am still angry they broke up the Dust Brothers tag team. They were the best, new act in the past year.)

Jeff Parsons: This should be the match of the night, and could be an all-time classic if the stars align correctly. There are too many guys in this match to have any sort of rhyme or reason to it, so I expect it to be very spot-heavy, with guys taking turns taking a powder outside the ring while two or three workers jump off of things.

In the end, I think Daniel Bryan will be your new IC champ, giving some credibility to the belt (finally), and as sort of a “are you happy now?” gesture to the internet fans. It also lets him main event some nights to defend the belt.

Anthony Toto: How many times could WWE potentially disappoint Daniel Bryan fans? His recent losing streak makes it seem like the creative team is deliberately trying to stick it to his vocal fanbase. Regardless of this notoriously poor booking, WWE could never take away his moment from Wrestlemania 30.

Outside of Bryan, I’m a vocal advocate for Dean Ambrose. I truly believe this man possess “Stone Cold” potential as he carries himself like a true badass. Regardless of the winner, this man needs to walk away looking like a star. Outside of Seth Rollins, Ambrose possesses the most lethal combination of phenomenal in-ring talent and promo skills.

Luke Harper hasn’t received the opportunity to scratch his surface so I’m hoping this match will raise his stock. This man is a top heel talent and I’m fully confident he would thrive as a monster reminiscent of (old) Kane. Dolph Ziggler received some high profile opportunities to shine over the past six months. He will always contend for the Intercontinental Championship, as I don’t believe WWE will ever give him the opportunity to compete for the main title. His recent victories over Daniel Bryan make him a legitimate threat in this match.

Winner: Daniel Bryan (I expect Lesnar to retain his title so perhaps the Intercontinental Championship will receive the main spotlight every week. If Bryan wins, he automatically raises the standard for this championship. Expect a lengthy Bryan vs. Ziggler feud following this match. I anticipate these wrestlers will steal the show and most of them will compete for the Money In the Bank briefcase in the near future.)

Kenny Pete: The annual “We don’t have cool angles for any these guys, so lets throw ’em in a car crash, highspot fest to pop the crowd” match is upon us with, quite frankly, the most over superstar in recent memory, Daniel Bryan, relegated to having to catch guys like Stardust & R-Truth off of a ladder. Its really sad that the company refuses to put Daniel Bryan & Dolph Ziggler in more prominent positions in the company due to “injury concerns” despite being 2 of the biggest organic heroes the company has seen in a very long time. Oh yeah, who wins? Daniel Bryan wins. If its anyone else, the crowd will be surly for the rest of the show & the company should be smart enough not to do that to themselves…..again.

Michael Dworkis: Primus of Cybertron this is a tough one to call. I see this match and I think of Money in the Bank. Except the twist is the Intercontinental Championship. Sometimes the bearer gets a push, or gets buried. In the case of Wade Barrett, wearing the title has been more of a curse than anything. However for someone like Dolph Ziggler, it makes the crowd happy. For a guy like Ziggler, having the IC title does not do anything for him, crowd still loves him anyway. Same with Daniel Bryan. What they also share, is the wide fanbase craving for them to be WWE Champion. Now, guys like Harper, Ambrose, and dare I say R-Truth, they could benefit from an additional push with a title. Even Star Dust, hell, his gimmick might fizzle out with the fans unless he has a championship. Maybe I am wrong. Does WWE go with someone we will not expect, or someone to send to the crowd home happy. Either way, my pick is…
Winner: Dean Ambrose

Jon Lister: In all likelihood, the match of the evening. I also enjoyed how they built this match up in the past few weeks. I’m probably nuts (along with my pick) on this one, but I’ll go for the dark horse and choose Stardust. I also see Ziggler going heel during the match so a feud with Danielson may start. Also, and this should be obvious, look for Barrett to injure himself like he did the last time he was in a ladder match.

Evi Dworkis: This is a tough one because I really do like all of these guys individually (R-Truth is okay) and they all do have great potential to make great IC title holders. However, since I have to pick one, I will say Dolph Ziggler, who seems as though WWE is pushing back to the big stage again soon.
