“Becky the Pod Person”
Pod people are scary because they look human but are devoid of any human emotion such as love and fear. When Miles (Kevin McCarthy) and Becky (Dana Wynter) hide out from the pods, they get split up. When Miles finds her, she is asleep. He goes to kiss her and immediately notices something is wrong. As she awake, her face is emotionaless and it becomes apparent she has been transformed. The fear on Miles’ face is noticeable but it’s his sense of sadness that really shocks you.
