Nosferatu is the original tale of Dracula, using the name Count Orlok in place of the famous vampire because of copyright reasons. Anyway, actor Max Schreck is legendary in his role of Orlok; the perfect combination of strange and creepy. Every time he appears on screen, it’s horrifying. The most famous (and unsettling) scene takes place in an old mansion. Orlok makes his way up the stairs but the scary part is, there’s no Orlok, just his shadow creeping its way towards his victim.
