Best and Worst in Film 2014

BEST SCORE

Interstellar movie poster.

Hans Zimmer (Interstellar)

Not even close. This score destroys everything. I’ve been doing this category for three years now, and Zimmer has won every time, although I suspect next year John Williams will be winning for a certain movie set in space.

Honorable Mentions:

  • Antonio Sanchez (Birdman)
  • Clint Mansell (Noah)
  • Aria Prayogi/Joseph Trapanese/Fajar Yuskemal (The Raid 2)
  • John Ottman (X-Men: Days of Future Past)

Daniel Cohen is the hard-boiled Film Editor for the Pop Break. Besides reviews, Daniel writes box office predictions, Gotham reviews and Oscar coverage. He can also be found on the Breakcast. If Daniel was sprayed by Scarecrow’s fear toxin, it would be watching Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen on a non-stop loop.
