The T. Rex
Okay, Jurassic Park isn’t a horror movie. That doesn’t mean it can’t be scary, as is the epic scene where the Tyrannosaurus Rex breaks free from its compound and begins to sniff out our heroes. Steven Spielberg hits as close to perfection as one can get with this scene, using the absence of sound to make you feel the impact of the T-Rex. The Rex hunts by movement and as everyone remains as still as possible, he begins to sniff them out. This scene puts you on the edge of your seat and hits top speed when they take off in the car and the T-Rex begins to chase them.
