4. Reunion (Season 2, 2 Parts)
Simply put, this is just a damn good episode. Great battles, great drama and almost every X-Men gets involved. The entire season has built to this point, as Mr. Sinister, a crazy mutant who’s obsessed with experimentation on other mutants lures not only Professor X and Magneto to his hidden savage land, but the entire X-Men crew. It all comes to a head in his lab atop a mountain where the X-Men have no powers. Aside from the huge battles, Mr. Sinister completely screws with Morph, an X-Men we thought died in the previous season, but now he’s totally warped by Mr. Sinister’s manipulation. We’re also introduced to Sauron, a pterodactyl looking mutant who uses mind control. Yeah. It culminates in a breathtaking battle to cap off the whole shebang. It’s entertaining as all hell, and the reason why I’d love to see Mr. Sinister on the big screen.
