67. The Evil Dead – 1981
“We’re Gonna Get You”
Again, we find ourselves in the realm of more comedy than horror with the original Evil Dead but this film, while hilarious, is also pretty creepy. Whilst the tree rape scene may stick in the craw of most people, I feel the scene where the Deadites begin chanting ”we’re gonna get you, we’re gonna get you, not another peep, time to go to sleep” while giggling madly is the things nightmares are made of.
