78. Trick ‘R’ Treat – 2007
The School Bus
Trick ‘R’ Treat is one of my favorite horror movies of all time, but it isn’t inherently scary. This film does have some creepy images, however, and the most atrocious of them is the school bus massacre. A bus driver is paid off by the local parents to kill off their mentally challenged kids and he does so by driving his bus off a cliff into a ravine. This idea is so despicable and the fact that he actually does it, makes it even worse. The cuts to the kids, all wearing spooky masks and chained to their seats, help accentuate the scenes scare.
