10. Weapon X, Lies, and Videotape (Season 3)
If you were massively disappointed by X-Men Origins: Wolverine, then watch this episode. This is what the movie should have been. There’s no question Wolverine is the most popular X-Men character, and his back story of the adamantium infusion and forgotten memories is well regarded in X-Men lore. This episode lays it all out for us, including his epic feud with Sabretooth. The episode begins with Wolveirne completely freaking out in the X-Mansion. Nobody can help him, not even Professor X. This leads Wolverine to go off on his own (again), as he attempts to track down the mysteries of his past. He comes into contact with Sabretooth, Silver Fox and Maverick, the other mutants who were part of his special ops team. There’s bad blood every where. With Beast tagging along, they unlock the secrets of their past, and much like everything else in Wolverine’s life, it’s not pretty. Everyone got psychologically screwed with, leaving Wolverine with more questions by the end. The flashbacks are emotionally wrenching. You even feel for Sabretooth for crying out loud, with some great voice acting from Don Francks who performed the character. If you’re a massive Wolverine fan, this is the episode for you.
