The Hobbling
I feel that when a celebrity has someone tell them that they’re their number one fan, instant fear takes over them, imagining the plot of Misery. When Kathy Bates’ Annie decides that she cannot let her captive escape, she places a wooden block between his legs and forcefully takes a hammer to his foot. You not only see the foot break but you feel it as well, perhaps even grabbing your foot in protest. Don’t worry, she takes out the other one as well, further cementing her crazy and grossing us out.
