Happy Mother’s Day!

In honor of the woman who gave birth to us, the staff of Pop-Break decided to create a list of their all-time favorite maternal figures. Moms have been a central part of television since its creation. Of course TV moms come in varied forms. There’s the quintessential homemakers armed with milk and cookies in the 1950s, there’s the struggling (and sometimes not struggling) single mothers that began to sprout up in the 1970s, there’s the married working moms who became the norm in the 1980s and the animated moms who became a part of American pop culture in the 90s.
